Poppy and all other programs on this site are freeware and will always be freeware. I do have to pay for the hardware and software that I use for software development however. I would appreciate it very much if you would like to make a small donation.

Do you know what Bubeaucoup means? If you find out what that means, you also know what this guy likes to do...Cheers!

SSL support!
Many people have asked for SSL support in Poppy in order to use it
with e-mail services like GMail, Yahoo (POP) etc.
Finally, I had some time to look into this and the possibility of
using the OpenSSL library to implement SSL support. It turned out
to be a lot easier than I thought. I hope you will enjoy this feature.

Poppy now works on Windows Vista!
I finally found the cause of the compatibility issues with Windows Vista.
Initially I did not see the problem on my laptop, but suddenly I saw
the same problem too. After some debugging, I found the cause of the problem.
I hope that the Windows Vista users are now happy again...
